In the past few years, a book with the same title has been published based on extensive reports of futures studies activities from different countries. In completing the book, some of the most important aspects of the main reports were collected for readers in policy making fields to public areas. Therefore, according to the feedback from the scientific community of the country, this work was a widely used audience, which, in addition to using a wide range of readers, was particularly important for the use of graduate students especially in the field of futures studies. It has been very effective in developing a shared discourse in the field of futures studies and in co-operation with the literature on this field.
Due to the diverse views and the suggestions which we received from the audience of the book, we would focus the second edition of the book in a special way on European countries. The countries whose futures studies reports are included in the book are Germany, England, France, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Greece and Turkey, some of which contain reports on several independent futures studies activities in the concerned countries. The main sources of different sections in the report are detailed for enthusiasts.
