Specialized roundtable on “Introducing the Concepts, Foundations and Models of Technology Roadmap” was held on Monday July, 22, 2019at NRISP with the efforts of NRISP Futures Studies Research Group.

The training workshop entitled “Science and Scientific Terms” was jointly held by NRISP and Iranian Association for Popularization of Sciences on Monday, July, 15, 2019 at NRISP with the presence of primary and high school teachers.

NRISP and Iranian Association for Popularization of Sciences held a joint meeting on “Water Crisis from Draught to Flood” to review the climate changes and water resource management on Sunday, July, 17, 2019 at NRISP. The meeting manager was Dr. Mehdi Zare.

The meeting on the review of the State Laws dealing with preventing plagiarism was held at NRISP on Saturday, July 13, 2019 with the presence of Ali Mohammad Fallahzadeh (faculty member of Allameh Tabataba'i University and Secretary of the Presidential Commission on Science, Research and Technology), Dr. Hassan Vakilian (faculty member of Allameh Tabataba'i University and Director General of Formulating Laws and Regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology) , Dr.

In a ceremony attended by Dr. Ahmadi, Advisor to the Minister of Science and NRISP President, Dr. Solgi, President of Institute for Culture, Art and Communications and some of the senior managers, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to expand bilateral cooperation between these two think tanks and to develop scientific research cooperation in the field of Islamic culture and guidance.

John Nixon's book "Towards the Virtuous University” was reviewed on Saturday June, 15, 2019 at NRISP.

One of the major challenges facing developing countries is to make science and technology an essential part of the culture of the people. A number of historical, cultural, political, social and economic situations have resulted in the need to develop policies and strategies that favor the popularization of science and technology in the developing countries.

Science Popularization Department of the National Research Institute for Science Policy (NRISP), Tehran, Iran in partnership with the Centre for Science and Technology of the Non-Aligned and Other Developing Countries (NAM S&T Centre), New Delhi, India, is jointly organizing an International Workshop on ‘Policy Making in Popularization of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI)’ in Tehran, Iran during 17-19 June, 2019.

A two- day International Workshop on Research Management was held by German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and  Leibniz, Helmholtz, DFG, DLR Research Institutes on 7th.-8th. May, 2019. Some of the managers of the Iranian research institutes affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Energy Research Institute participated at the workshop.

The 2nd. Popularization of Science Festival in Student Theses and Dissertations was held on Wednesday, 1st. May 2019 at the Faculty of Psychology & Education, Tehran University. At this ceremony selected theses and dissertations were honored.
